I’m a UX Researcher and I use my powers for good.

Surface Pro X

MICROSOFT — Evaluating the early experience of using Surface Pro X following launch. I ran an unboxing study, diary study, and interviews with users. My work provided many teams with foundational knowledge of user perceptions for the Surface Pro X, Signature Keyboard, and Slim Pen, and informed design for future versions.

Surgical Instrument

UNDISCLOSED CLIENT — Multi-million-dollar project inventing a new instrument to improve thoracic surgery. I ran interviews and usability tests with surgeons in both simulated models and in vivo. My work directly impacted each iteration before re-testing, bringing the product closer to improving thoracic surgery experiences and outcomes.

Web Portal

UNDISCLOSED CLIENT — Evaluating a dashboard designed for healthcare professionals. I ran remote interviews and usability tests with nurses and dietitians using the dashboard to complete tasks. My work informed further improvements and product direction and focus prior to release.

Augmented Reality App

UNDISCLOSED CLIENT — Evaluating an AR app on HoloLens 2 designed for retail employees. I conducted a heuristic analysis, then ran interviews and usability tests with users. My work informed development through each project phase and directly impacted go/no-go decisions for the project’s future.

Surface Headphones

MICROSOFT — Evaluating the out-of-box experience of Surface Headphones, from packaging impressions to first use. I ran an unboxing study and diary study with users. My work provided foundational knowledge and served as the primary source of rich qualitative user feedback to inform the design of Surface Headphones 2.

Co-Branded Mobile App

BLINK UX (for undisclosed Fortune 500 clients) — Evaluating the clarity and experience of using a co-branded mobile app. I ran interviews, usability tests, card sorts, and preference tests with users. My work identified key features needed and areas of confusion, providing inputs needed to inform the next design iterations.
